 We all know the relation between art and mystery from the artworks of the great painter Leonardo Da Vinci. His one of the most famous painting " Mona Lisa" is captured in our hearts till date. Even after hundreds of years no one has been able to solve the mystery behind it. That's the beauty of art! How did I become an artist?

 "Every child is an artist , the problem is to remain an artist when they grow up"  ~Pablo Picasso

This statement was said in the right context as in now busy times people don't get a minute to relax and pick up their hobby rather they end up surfing and chatting on internet. In the next section i am gonna share my journey as an artist.

Does being an artist require skills? Perfect strokes? Acrylics? These are only the tags of art, the only requirement for being an artist is the spark inside you which has to be ignited once. I never owned a kit of expensive brushes or paint colors in my life but I would definitely like to own one. I never learned art, I never joined an art course but I can create mesmerizing pictures. When I was a kid I was always engaged in drawing and coloring. As I grew up in my life I got busier and got stuck with my school work but i restarted my hobby and here my school has ended but my art is still with me. I am still not a professional artist but i am proud of myself as I taught myself how to be a good artist since the beginning

I love to do mandala art, oil pastel painting, sketches, designing dresses but acrylic paintings are still not my cup of tea as i have never tried them but i will master in it too one day. But i surely improved in my work. You can watch youtube, you can take ideas from pinterest also you can have a look at my previous blog which covers most of this section.

How to become a good artist?

 JOURNEY OF BECOMING AN ARTIST

In this section i will put light on certain facts which will help you become an artist, artist in the sense of paintings and sketches.

If you want to be an artist and excel in your skills without investing money and buying expensive tools you should start working on these steps:-

1. Start playing with your tools

If you want to be an artist but you don't have enough skills, you should first focus on developing your skills. The first step required is to use your tools to get the best possible result. How can you do that? You should start drawing with the basic tools like pencils and colors. You should not feel sad about your imperfect drawings, the only motive should be to get the perfect strokes.

2. Try creating the images from internet or your favorite artist

Your next step should be to draw you favorite paintings and sketches from google, pinterest or from the creations of your favorite artist. It is not necessary to create the perfect piece, you should try to be near to it. Art itself means "Perfectly Imperfect". 

3. Start pouring your imagination

After mastering in second step, you can start creating your own creations. Try pouring out your emotions and feelings in it. Once you will connect with it you will be able to rock your painting. 

4. Share your art on different platforms

Once you get mastered in third step you should start sharing your art on pinterest, your personal website, instagram, facebook, twitter. This will not only help you in getting recognised through your talent but also in growing and making yourself better by paying attention to your followers advice. 

5. Monetize your talent

After following all the 4 steps you should start earning money from your art. You have to face a little difficulty in beginning but after some time you will definitely be able to earn a decent amount which will help you in further investing in your field and getting more recognised.

4. Practice practice and practice because nothing is possible without it.

Painful Poems

    Here is my first piece of art  ( a poem) which has a deep meaning enough to leave deep imprints on your hearts.

         

Summary:- The poem is all about a girl who is in pain. Tears are rolling down her cheeks, she weeps alone without letting anyone know , her hope is no more left and her thoughts are ruined. Her eyes reflects the pain which is killing her from within. The poet is asking the people why are they unable to see the mess, for this the reason given is maybe she is too hard to express herself. The girl who was once full of life who used to enjoy small things like rain is now in deep pain . To this the poet explained either the world is cruel or she is too good for the person whom she fell in love with. She has lost her smile and is no more happy as she used to be, she is all alone trapped in the mystery of her own thoughts. The poet ends the poem by mentioning that her heart which was once filled with love is now full of gloom and sadness. And she things that this marks end of her life.  

This should not be a reason for anyone to end their life rather they should learn something from every situation. This poem doesn't support suicides as it was just written for the purpose of pouring out the feelings and pain.

Whenever you feel gloomy and dont want to share your pain with anyone you can always pen down your emotions and feelings and i can bet you will feel much better but just don't lose your hope as pain is just meant to make you realise why are you feeling that pain and once you will realise it, it will be gone for good.

What does art really mean?

 What do you mean by art?

Whenever we talk about the word art, the first thing that hits our mind is colors, paints and drawings. Does art really mean paintings ? No it is not true always, any hobby of yours which requires skills or in which you are skilled can be termed as "Art". So is your mother an artist? Yes ,because she is skilled in cooking. Can dance be categorised as art? Obviously Yes! Anything which gives pleasure to your eyes and soul is an art whether it is dance, a dish, a painting, a song or even a poem.

When a dancer dances, it provides peace to his soul  and to the millions of people who are having a glimpse at him. Whenever your mother cooks something delicious , it brings smile to your face. When your favorite singer let's say Justin Bieber or Ariana Grande( they are my favorite too) publishes any new song, we can feel every word from inside, it touches our soul. So if you do not specialise in any of the above does it make you less than an artist? No, even understanding these forms of art and learning something from them can make you an artist.

So in simple words we can say that every person is an artist, it doesn't matter at all whether you have skills or not, you just need to realise the potential inside you and that can become art!! Anything which you enjoy doing can fit in your definition of art. So what are you waiting for? Turn your hobby into your passion and create a new definition of art.
